“Hummingbird” by Jude Angelini

The Detroit Cast spoke with Jude Angelini about “Hummingbird,” a collection of dark, deviant, and funny stories of Rude Jude’s childhood growing up in Pontiac and tell-all experiences with drugs and women. Jude writes in a unique, natural voice that makes this an extremely easy and entertaining read. He plainly describes various sexual encounters―both strange and intimate―alongside stories of his prolific use of “science drugs.” Throughout, Jude is critical of himself and his actions, proving himself to be vulnerable, lonely, and extremely relatable. This book is brutally raw and entertaining!
